About the Role
We are seeking an analytically rigorous Junior Quantitative Analyst to join our team. This role is well-suited to graduates and early-career professionals from mathematics, statistics, corporate finance, or computational finance backgrounds who are eager to apply their quantitative skills in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support business decision-making.
• Interpret and clearly communicate quantitative results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and maintain pricing and reserving tools to support core business functions.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to improve analytical workflows and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior analysts to design, validate, and refine quantitative models and methodologies.
• Ensure all outputs meet quality standards and comply with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Finance, Corporate Finance, or a closely related quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a quantitative, analytical, or finance-related role.
• Strong mathematical foundations, including probability, statistics, and financial modelling.
• Proficiency in one or more analytical tools: Python, R, SQL, or Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable conclusions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Nice to Have
• Professional qualifications in progress or completed: CFA, FRM, actuarial (SOA, IFoA, or equivalent), or related designation.
• Technical knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS 17, IFRS 9, IFRS 16, or other relevant frameworks.
