Software Engineer (Python)

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Python) who enjoys building scalable systems, solving complex problems, and shaping product architecture.

In this role, you will work closely with product and engineering teams to design, build, and scale backend systems that power real products. You will also help drive architecture decisions and engineering best practices.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop scalable, modular backend systems using Python
• Build APIs and services using Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
• Architect and implement cloud-native and serverless solutions
• Build and deploy services using a containerized approach (Docker)
• Work with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes when required
• Translate product and business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in system architecture and technical decision-making
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
• Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and scalability

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
• Experience designing scalable and modular architectures
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with serverless architectures
• Experience building or deploying applications using a containerized approach (Docker)
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean code, and design patterns
• Ability to translate product and business requirements into technical solutions

Nice to Have 

• Understanding of UI/UX principles to help visualize product specifications
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience working in product-driven environments or fast-paced startups
