Head of Operations & Finance

One of our clients, a growing SME in the services sector, is looking for a professional who can bring together financial leadership, operational thinking, and business ownership.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys going beyond numbers, someone who can understand the bigger picture, improve processes, support management decisions, and help build a more structured and efficient organization.

The role will involve:

• Providing strategic oversight of Finance and Operations
  • Leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
  • Strengthening financial controls, governance, and business processes
  • Providing management with financial insights to support key business decisions
  • Driving operational efficiency and building scalable systems and workflows
  • Identifying process gaps and implementing practical improvements
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing teams while fostering accountability and a high-performance culture
  • Managing team performance, setting clear expectations, and ensuring effective people coordination across functions
  • Translating business priorities into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and operational execution
  • Establishing accountability, performance standards, and effective cross-functional coordination
  • Supporting sustainable growth through disciplined financial and operational management

We’re looking for someone with:

• ACCA / ICMA / CA Finalist / MBA
  • Strong experience across senior management role
  • Proven ability to lead functions, manage people, and work directly with senior leadership
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy with execution
  • The confidence to take ownership, challenge existing processes, and drive meaningful improvements
